Quick make up brush question =)?

I have just cleansed my makeup brushes ( i have a brush cleanser that you put on and rinse clean under running water) I was wondering if you can on a cool setting blow dry your makeup brushes to make them dry faster.. please only answer if you truely know.. thanks so much :)Quick make up brush question =)?
Yes, you can dry them on a cool setting. I put mine on the window sill, wherever the sun is, and they dry really quick.Quick make up brush question =)?
I honestly would not blow dry them, even if you put the blow dryer on the coolest setting. If the brushes have authentic hair you may melt them!

But if you are 100% sure that the brushes are real hair then I wouldn;t see why you wouldn't blow dry them.

My brushes are real hair, but I have never blow dryed them.

Make up brush fly aways?

I bought a MAC 182 brush and i have only had it for 3 days. It has so many fly aways! Is this normal? What can i do to fix this? Pull them out?

It is not a fake mac brushMake up brush fly aways?
There are lots of brushes like that, but some Mac brushes are just like that. There really is nothing you could do, but to try and reduce the amount of fly aways is to just gently use the brush.Make up brush fly aways?
well i know MAC is really good about replacing brushes, they say they have like a 5 year warranty or something, so i would try to take it back and get another one, its worth a shot.

also i heard that washing your brush with shampoo and conditioner before you use it helps the bristles stay in, no shedding, so that might help if you get a new one.
It is real?

Hm, well, that is normal, or at least, I've had that happen to most of my brushes, weather they were MAC or not. You can try to pull them out with your fingers, but tweezers would be easier to grab the exact one that is flying out.

Hope I helped %26amp; Good Luck!

xoxo,

Erica
My brushes also do that. i think its normal. Whenever i wash mine they come out even more. so
i know mine is like that too!!

Make Up Brush Help?

I got a really expensive 22 piece make up brush set for a wedding gift, I'd really like to use them. Is there any web sites out there that list each brush and what it looks like?Make Up Brush Help?
I'm guessing you want to see what each brush is for right? :D

Well, you can go to www.maccosmetics.com and see their list of brushes and what they're used for.Make Up Brush Help?
www.makeupalley.com lists basically every beauty product known to man. They also give reviews of all the products.
how do you know that it's really expensive? what is the brand name? not too many ';department store'; brands even offer 22pc brush sets unless it's some generic synthetic brush set that you could find at sears or something. If they truely are expensive and natural hair brushes then the person probably purchased them online. either way, the name shoud be on the handles. go from there...
benfit makeup. google that n find the website they will have it there.

=D hope this helped!
go on cosmetic stores' websites like mac and u'll see

Wher can i by a make up brush set ?

and what brands are ther and how much pls help ..............................make up brush set ?.....................Wher can i by a make up brush set ?
The Best Brands for Brushes (in my opinion) are as follows:

-MAC (lots of variety, finely angled and cut hairs)

-Bobbi Brown (feels so soft on the skin, long handles for easy application)

-Urban Decay (cruelty free synthetic hair, and lifetime guarantee, weigted for precision)

-Aveda (very resilient and feels lovely to the touch)

-Dior (very good shading brushes for eyeshadows %26amp; liners)

With any of these companies you can order online, or find them in large department stores (Macey's, Saks, House of Fraser, Jenners, The Bay, Sephora).

High end brush sets are pretty pricey, so you may want to start buying piece by piece based on what you use the most (no sense having a concealer brush, bronzing brush, foundation brush, lip brush and eyebrow brush when you only wear eyeshadow..)

Just make sure whatever brand you choose, to take care of your new brushes. After each use, spray them with a brush cleaner (';Brush Off!'; is a good one) and then once a week or so, cleanse them with warm soapy water and let air dry. This will keep your brushes newer, longer and avoid any chance for contamination or infection.

Good Luck with your search!!Wher can i by a make up brush set ?
I would spend a little bit more money on brushes because they are tools that'll make a difference. It also depends on what you wear the most. You should start small..and start collecting them much like make up. I would choose a

powder brush

foundation brush

blush brush

3 different kinds of eye brushes (slanted liner brush, large one for applying the base and blending, and small one to apply color or contour)

lip brush

concealer brush

These are the ones you need to create all the looks. I chose mac brushes because I know there are lots of cheap and good brushes out there but I don't want to waste a lot of money buying crappy cheap ones before I get to that one good cheap one. I want brushes that'll last a long time as well as being able to withstand many washes.
There are lots of diffrent brands. it all depends how much you want to spend.

Try boots, superdrug etc, any place that sells make up will sell brushes.

there are some on ebay as well

I got a really good set for only 拢15. make sure you check the quality of the hairs on the brush before you buy, just pull on them a bit and make sure none fall out and that the texture feels nice.

you dont have to pay lots to get good ones, but really cheap ones wont last long as the hairs fall out.
Sephora.com has MANY diff sets travel sets pop up vanity sets and full size pro sets they can be as cheap as 14 or as much as 400. It depends on what u r looking for. A bonus at sephora on-line is that you get free shipping on all orders $50 and up also, you can get 3 free samples so you can try new stuff and if you join the club you can get a bonus sample with every $100 you spend! Check it out!
KRYOLAN
there is some nice sets in Clairs, Semi Chem, Boots.

there maybe just 拢 1.99 For the Nice Set.

Hopes this helps
a full makeup brush set will cos about $100 try www.inglot.com.au
Ebay will have sets of mak up brushes for quite cheap.
Try somewhere like walgreens...they have more reasonable prices than going to places in the mall like MAC

if anyone can help me out on what kind they like and what kind are best. please help me decide.

    thanksMake up brushes??????
im big on brushes, i know without the right brushes, your makeup is screwed up, but honestly i think ur list is too extensive and u prolly wouldnt need that many, unless u were a makeup artist going to a fashion show. i just use concealer, foundation, bronzer(sometimes), blush, 2 eyeshadow(different sizes), eyebrow. my eyeliners have their own brush. and im not counting eyebrow sculpting gel with mascara brush thingie.

just get what u think u absolutely need, and if u feel u need something else get it later. cos i know i have gone overboard sometimes buying brushes that i dont use. have fun!

oh, also cheap brushes are a complete waste! i love bare minerals brushes, or if u have a sallys beauty supply, those are good too.Make up brushes??????
    definitely MAC

    *eye shadow brush - 224

    *eye crease blender brush -217

    *flat eyeliner brush - 212

    *eyeliner detailer brush - 209

    *eyebrow brush - 266

    *contour brush - 168

    *Blush brush - 129
You don't need to get so much brushes just get eye shadow, concealer, and blush brush. Those are an everyday use for me the rest of them will be a waste of $.

Should i wash my make up brush with face wash?

i use bare minerals powder and i have the brush that is kinda like a blush brush, but with a short handle. anyway, i have mild acne, but i feel like the bacteria will get on the bush. should i wash it out rreally good with hot water and my face wash?Should i wash my make up brush with face wash?
Johnson baby shampoo works great to wash your brushes I do it all the time %26amp; my make up brush look like new also the shampoo makes the brittles more soft plus is a cheap alternative for your budget.Should i wash my make up brush with face wash?
i don't think it would work if u washed it...it would probably lose it's shape and then you wouldn't be able to use it anymore

i would suggest just 2 buy a new brush and i don't think that the acne will affect it unless someone else with skin problems uses your brush and you use it after them
my name is mila toooo :D

i have the same brush. there is this cleaner you can buy that is made especially for the brush.. but it is so expensive!! and it just has household items in it!

try mixing 1 part face wash with 3 parts hot hot water. swish your brush around in it.. then rinse with hot water.. then rinse with cold water. let dry (:

    good luck :)
If you're using acne medication regularly, you don't have to use the brush. Don't use an expensive $30 brush, use one that you can change every few months.
    get macs makeup brush cleaner

    :D it works wonders.

    answer mine?

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090712143202AAFyeEC
if you feel like the bacteria is getting on the brush buy a new brush.

But i dont think the bacteria is getting on the brush...
They make brush cleaner. You can buy it at just about any beauty store... LIke Ulta for example for about 10-15 dollars. I think Target has some too.
i have no idea if that will help with ur acne but origins and mac have brush cleaner that is specifically made for cleaning ur brush but it might be a little more expensive
